Our take
I got these rubber plates to add to my weight setup. The 7.5 kg each is a good mid-range weight for many exercises. The rubber is thick and definitely helps dampen noise and protect floors. They fit my Olympic bar snugly. However, the price is quite steep for a pair of 7.5 kg plates - you could likely find similar quality for less. Also, they are unbranded, so QA might vary. The plates have a slight rubber smell initially that fades. If you need shockproof plates and don't mind paying extra, these work, but shop around first.
